Programmable/Active Networks research activities within the Distributed Multimedia Research Group, part of Lancaster University Computing Department
What are programmable networks?
Our research team consists of post-doctoral and post-graduate researchers and PhD students.
We collaborate with other universities and companies in several projects. We are currently involved in three collaborations: Alpine, CASPIAN, and LandMARC.
Our work consists of development of active platforms, infrastructure and applications. We have developed two complementary platforms for low- and high-level active networking.
We have presented our work at various conferences and workshops.
We make some of our software available for others to use and test.
